Visual Effects are on the MODDED Characters as follows:

Barb: Lighting
Demon Hunter: Fire
Monk: Gold
Witch Doctor: Poison Dripping
Wizard: Arcane
Crusader: Holy Particles
Necromancer: Arcane Blue/Purple Particle Emission

IMPORTANT:
To keep the effects the slot with the effects must be kept empty at all times.
Putting an item in the slot with the effect will destroy the effect and is not reversible.

Effects are in the following slots:

Main-hand, Offhand, Shoulder, Helm.

If you wish use a main-hand you'll lose the main-hand effect but you'll keep the rest, vice versa.
